On December 14 this year, an online meeting with representatives of the Korea Statistics Office (KOSTAT) was held at the State Committee on Statistics.


At the event, an exchange of views took place on issues of interaction between the State Committee on Statistics and the Korean Statistics Office, as well as studying the experience of KOSTAT in conducting a population census.
In particular, during the conversation, Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics Begalov Bakhodir Abdusalomovich spoke about the study of the practice of population census and the exchange of experience, changes in the statistical system, adopted legislative acts, the results noted in international ratings and indices.


The head of KOSTAT also informed about the work done on the population census and plans for the future.
After that, the participants also exchanged views on the recently conducted pilot population census in our country, as well as on the upcoming population census in 2023.


At the meeting, a seminar was organized with the participation of specialists from both sides, during which questions and answers were given in various areas.
