At the end of January-September 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in industry in the Andijan region amounted to 5 849.7 billion soums and, a decrease in volume in comparable prices was noted, which amounted to 95.0% to the level of January-September 2020 compared to with the same period last year. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP amounted to 19.8% and, compared to January-September 2017, increased by 5.3 percentage points.
