In January-September 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in industry in the Syrdarya region amounted to 2,525.8 billion soums and, compared to the same period last year, increased by 18.5%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 23.6% and, compared to January-September 2020, increased by 1.0 percentage points.
