As of October 1, 2021, in all categories of farms in the Jizzakh region, the total number of cattle amounted to 920.1 thousand heads (103.6% in relation to October 1, 2020), of which 266.2 thousand cows (103.2%), sheep and goats - 2,233.1 thousand heads (104.3%), horses - 28.3 thousand heads (106.3%) and birds - 3,573.4 thousand heads (101 ,eight %).
