In January-December 2021, 7,540.9 thousand tons of grain crops were produced, of which 6,174.4 thousand tons or 81.9% of the total production of grain crops were grain crops.
The largest volume of grain production was noted in farms - 5,182.1 thousand tons, or 83.9% of their total production.
A significant share of the total volume of grain crops belongs to the Kashkadarya region (12.5%). At the same time, high rates of grain production were noted in Samarkand (10.8%), Fergana (10.3%) and Surkhandarya (10.1%) regions.
