In total, in January-February 2022, in the Republic of Uzbekistan, 21,074 food industry enterprises produced products worth 6,736.7 billion soums. The network volume index compared to January-February 2021 amounted to 106.4%.The largest share in the total volume of products produced in the republic by food industry enterprises fell on the Tashkent region 17.8% (2180 food industry enterprises), Tashkent city 14.5% (2909), Samarkand region 14.2% (2212).
