In January-June 2022, all categories of farms in the republic produced 229.8 thousand tons of food melons.
Analyzing the regions with the largest share of the production of food melons, it should be noted that in the republic 25.8% of the total production of food melons falls on the Surkhandarya region (59.3 thousand tons).
