According to the results of January-June 2022, in the Surkhandarya region, the GRP increased by 4.1% and amounted to 15,966.4 billion soums. GRP growth factors were growth rates in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 102.5% (share in the GRP structure - 45.4%), industry - 104.5% (6.1%), construction - 105.9% (9.0%) and the service sector - 105.4% (39.5%). GRP per capita amounted to 5,790.8 thousand soums and increased by 1.8 %.
