At the beginning of the 2021/2022 academic year, 808.4 thousand students studied at higher educational institutions of the republic, of which 120 thousand students (14.8% of the total) study on state grants.
If we compare these figures with the 2020/2021 academic year, it can be observed that the number of students on the state grant increased by 23 thousand people (by 23.5%).
