In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 11, 2020 No. 710 “On measures to prepare and conduct a population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023”, August of this year, the task was set to carry out work on compiling lists of housing.
In this regard, from August 4 to August 31 of this year, in all districts and cities of the republic, about 7 thousand employees of registrars worked to create lists of residential buildings and non-residential premises where the population can live, as well as study maps of mahallas for their compliance with the real situation on place.
As a result of these activities, houses without numbers in mahallas, nameless streets, residential houses not included on the map, demolished houses, new residential and non-residential houses under construction, where the population can live, have been identified, as well as maps of mahallas have been updated. This will form the basis for the development of an organizational plan for the census.
The registrars who took an active part in the working process were awarded memorable gifts.
