In January-August 2022, Uzbekistan imported 20.8 thousand cars from abroad in the amount of 511.6 million US dollars.
The import of cars in the current year compared to the corresponding period in 2021 increased by 5.8 thousand units (138.6%).
Countries from which Uzbekistan imported the largest number of cars in January-August this year:
- China - 8.3 thousand pieces.
- Republic of Korea - 6.8 thousand units.
- Kazakhstan - 3.7 thousand pieces.
- Russia - 1.4 thousand pieces.
- Other countries - 605 pcs.
