According to the results of January-June 2022, the GRP of the Tashkent region amounted to 42,905.1 billion soums with an increase of 6.1%.
In this region, positive growth rates were noted in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 101.1% (share in the GRP structure - 19.5%), industry - 107.2% (49.3%), construction - 110.6% (5.9%) and the service sector - 107.0% (25.3%).
Compared with January-June 2021, GRP per capita in real terms increased by 7.4% and amounted to 14,538.7 thousand soums.
