In January-June 2022, the bulk of assimilated investments in fixed assets by type of economic activity in the Jizzakh region fell on agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 1009.6 billion soums or 22.7% of the total assimilated investments, in the manufacturing industry - 1221.3 billion soums (27.4%), construction - 109.4 billion soums (5.5%), wholesale and retail trade 6.3 billion soums (0.1%), for the construction of residential buildings - 342.7 billion soums (7.7%) and for other activities 1763.1 billion soums (39.6%).
