In the Republic of Uzbekistan in January - August 2022, large enterprises produced 3,419.5 thousand tons of coal, the growth rate compared to the corresponding period in 2021 was 107.4%.
Also, in January-August 2022, the largest share of coal production by large enterprises fell on the share of the Tashkent region (95.1%), the production volume amounted to 3,251.7 thousand tons.
