In the Republic of Uzbekistan in August 2022, large industrial enterprises produced 61.4 thousand tons of sugar.
Also, in January-August of this year, large enterprises produced 430.0 thousand tons of sugar, the growth rate compared to the corresponding period in 2021 amounted to 111.9%.
Also in January-August 2022, the largest share of sugar production by large enterprises fell on the share of the Tashkent region (57.7%), the production volume amounted to 248.3 thousand tons.
