According to the results of January-June 2022, the gross value added (GVA) in agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the Surkhandarya region amounted to 7,051.5 billion soums and, compared to January-June 2021, increased by 2.5%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 45.4% and, compared to the same period in 2018, decreased by 5.9 percentage points.
