According to sample surveys of households of the State Statistics Committee, as of January-September 2022, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the provision of the population by type of housing was:
- Detached house (private house "on the ground") - 93.0%;
- Separate apartment: in an apartment building - 6.5%;
- other types - 0.5%.
