As part of the execution of the Presidential Decree “On measures to further improve the public administration system in the fields of tourism, sports and cultural heritage” UP-6199 dated April 6, 2021 and the program of stay in the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on statistics of international experts on November 18, 2022 in the Department of Statistics of the Samarkand region a seminar was organized on the topic: “Development of computer technologies in the field of statistics”.
The participants of the seminar “Development of computer technologies in the field of statistics” were employees of the Department of Statistics of Samarkand region and Khokimiyat of Samarkand region, heads of departments of the Central Office of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on statistics.
International experts told the audience about the history of the development of information and communication technologies in the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States starting since 1994, covered the stages of formation of the first electronic edition of the CIS database, the use of computer graphics in the publications of the statistical services of the CIS member states, presented current trends, Infographics - data conversion on the site, detailed information was provided on modern trends in data integration in various industries, the use of Open Data, Big Data (Big Data), information on the Internet of things market ( IoT) and challenges in statistics for sustainable development.
The participants of the seminar touched upon the development of the field of artificial intelligence, exchanged views on the prospects for the implementation of artificial intelligence algorithms in various business areas, the use of various models and services of artificial intelligence for the needs of statistics and open data, considered the positive and negative consequences of using neural networks in various business processes, discussed the effectiveness of machine algorithms in technological cycles and other areas of further development of the artificial intelligence system and open data.
After the presentation, the experts gave detailed answers to all the questions asked during the seminar.
