According to the results of January-September 2022, the volume of GRP of Samarkand region amounted to 43,506.8 billion soums and, compared to January-September 2021, increased by 6.2%. In this region, positive growth rates were noted in the sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 103.9% (share in the GRP structure - 40.6%), industry - 108.8% (16.3%), construction - 111 .8% (6.4%) and services - 106.7% (36.7%). GRP per capita increased by 4.0% and amounted to 10,708.0 thousand soums.
