On December 12, 2022, the 65th meeting of the Council of Heads of Statistical Services of the CIS Member States was held in the format of videoconferencing.
The meeting was chaired by Bakhodir Abdusalomovich Begalov represented by the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics.
The chairmen and deputy chairmen of the statistical services of the CIS member states also participated in the online meeting.
In accordance with the agenda, the issue of chairmanship in the Council of Heads of Statistical Services of the CIS Member States in 2023 was discussed.
In addition, issues such as the project on the development of CIS statistics, cooperation between the CIS Statistical Committee and UNAPFA were discussed: the results of the work of 2013-2022. and plans for 2023, etc.
The results of the meeting, as well as the decision and relevant materials, in the prescribed manner, will be submitted to the CIS Executive Committee for subsequent submission to the Council of CIS Heads of Government for consideration.
