In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the establishment of the Day of Agricultural Workers of the Republic of Uzbekistan", adopted by the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on August 1, 2017, the second Sunday of December is established as the Day of Agricultural Workers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Based on this, on December 11, 2022, the next event "Day of Agricultural Workers - Harvest Festival" was held in the building of the Uzexpocentre.
At the event, which was held in harmony with the Harvest Festival, it was told about the ongoing reforms in the agrarian sector, about the work of agricultural workers.
As part of the event, round tables were organized on topical issues in the agricultural sector (thematic panel sessions), fairs of food products and agricultural machinery, technologies and innovations.
Agzam Ikramov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics, took part in the round table and made a presentation on the formation of information and statistics on the agrarian and food sectors.
