On December 13 this year, the presentation of the head of the Department for the Development of Information and Communication Technologies and Interactive Public Services, Shokhrukh Odilov, was held at the State Statistics Committee following the results of an international conference recently organized in Tokyo, Japan, on the topic: "Assessing the impact and eliminating problems in the 2020 census round during the COVID-19 pandemic."
In the Presentation, Sh. Odilov dwelled in detail on the knowledge and experience gained during the international conference.
He also spoke about the advantages and disadvantages of using modern technologies in the census process, using the Internet and tablet devices in the population census, as well as foreign experience in collecting and processing large amounts of data.
