As of October 1, 2022, the poultry population in the republic reached 91,209.9 thousand heads.
The main part of the poultry population was observed in dekhkan (personal subsidiary) farms - 50,439.2 thousand heads, or 55.3% of the total population.
A significant proportion of the total poultry population to the Tashkent region (17.1%). At the same time, an increase in the number of birds was recorded in Samarkand (13.4%), Andijan (10.1%) and Fergana (9.0%) regions.
