On December 23 this year, the State Committee on Statistics hosted a presentation of the head of the Department of Consolidation and Information Work Khurshid Juraev, and the deputy head of the Department for organizing and conducting census processes - the head of the Department for Census Methodology and Work with cartographic documents by Sherzod Dusnaev, dedicated to the results of a business trip recently organized in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on the topic: “Fulfilling our mission and looking to the future 2022: Meeting of the Expert Group on Statistics of Refugees, Temporary Residents and Stateless Persons (EGRISS)” .
In the presentation, Kh. Juraev and Sh. Dusnaev spoke in detail about the knowledge and experience they gained during their international business trip.
They also provided information on refugees, forced displacement and statelessness when counting them in the population census, methodological documents, foreign experience and international recommendations.
