As of January-November 2022, in the Surkhandarya region, 77.9% of households have children under 16 years old.
Of them:
- with one child - 21.0%;
- with two children - 24.2%;
- with three children - 22.2%;
- having four or more children - 10.5%.
According to the survey, 22.1% of households do not have children under the age of 16.
