The Public Council for the Development of the Information Sphere and Mass Communications under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan compiled a rating of media activity of state authorities and administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the national media.
This rating, compiled as of December 31, 2022, is based on an analysis of information on the activities of public authorities and administration published in 50 leading media in Uzbekistan. The final rating includes a study of the activities of 30 ministries and departments of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The rating indicators reflect the level of activity of press services and government officials in national media coverage of activities that have attracted the attention of the general public.
When compiling the final indicators, the published original materials on the activities of a particular ministry, the audience, type, tone (negative, neutral) of the published information, the number of comments on the information, the number of views, etc. were taken into account.
Based on the relevant methodology approved by the Public Council, these statistics served to compile the final figures.
It is noteworthy that according to the results of the rating, the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics took the third place.
In order to achieve this result, the information service of the State Committee on Statistics for 2022 published 4,725 statistical data on the committee’s website, 16,571 on Telegram, 16,571 on Facebook, 350 on Instagram, and about 8,000 in domestic and foreign media.
