According to the results of January-September 2022, the gross value added (GVA) in agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the Jizzakh region amounted to 9,087.4 billion soums and, compared to January-September 2021, increased by 3.3%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in the gross regional product (GRP) reached 49.7% and, compared to the same period in 2018, decreased by 4.5 percentage points.
