According to sample surveys of households of the State Statistics Committee for January-November 2022, the distribution of households by type of housing in the Samarkand region:
- separate house (private house) - 91.8%;
- a separate apartment (in an apartment building) - 7.8%;
- other types of housing - 0.4%.
