The volume of transit cargo transported (by road and by rail) through the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan in January-December 2022 amounted to 9,194.5 thousand tons. 7,522.3 thousand tons were transported by rail (in relation to the total volume of cargo 81.8%), by road - 1,672.2 thousand tons (in relation to the total volume of cargo 18.2%).
