At the end of 2022, the share of transportation and storage in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 5.2%.
In the structure of the gross value added of the transportation and storage industry, the largest share fell on road transport - 56.7%.
Pipeline transport accounted for 12.6%, railway transport - 10.1%, ancillary transport activities - 12.9%, air transport - 7.7% of the total value added of this industry.
