At the end of 2022, the GRP of the Republic of Karakalpakstan increased by 4.0% and amounted to 29,925.4 billion soums. GRP growth is due to positive growth rates in the main sectors of the region's economy, such as agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 103.3% (share in the GRP structure - 29.6%), industry - 100.6% (23.6%) , construction - 107.7% (8.3%) and services - 106.0% (38.5%). GRP per capita increased by 2.6% and amounted to 15,249.4 thousand soums.
