On February 10 this year, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Director of the Agency for Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Z. Ziyaev, a videoconference meeting was held to discuss the state of work carried out by the territorial departments of statistics in preparation for the population census.
At the meeting, the activities carried out with the cadastral authorities in the regions to update maps of mahallas and settlements, as well as campaigning activities on population censuses, were critically discussed.
During the discussion of the meeting, reports were heard from the regions where mistakes and shortcomings were made in the work being done, and the deadlines for eliminating these shortcomings were determined.
