By the beginning of the 2022/2023 academic year, the total number of students in general education institutions reached 6,461.7 thousand people. Thus, students in grades 1-4 became 2,544.0 thousand, or 39.4% of the total, an increase of 79.9 thousand compared to the 2021/2022 academic year.
