According to preliminary data, as of January 1, 2023, the number of horses in all categories of farms in the republic reached 269.1 thousand heads and increased by 3.4% compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
Analysis by category of farms shows that 70.9% of the total number of horses fall on dekhkan and subsidiary farms, 23.2% - on farms, 5.9% - on organizations engaged in agricultural activities.
