At the end of 2022, the GRP of the Tashkent region amounted to 93,433.1 billion soums with an increase of 5.1%. In this region, positive growth rates were noted in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 104.0% (share in the GRP structure - 22.1%), industry - 105.1% (47.9%), construction - 107.7% (5.8%) and the service sector - 105.4% (24.2%). Compared to 2021, GRP per capita in real terms increased by 3.3% and amounted to 31,499.2 thousand soums.
