According to preliminary data, as of January 1, 2023, the number of cattle in all categories of farms in the republic reached 13.9 million heads and increased by 2.3% compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
Analysis by categories of farms shows that 91.4% of the total number of cattle falls on dekhkan and subsidiary farms, 6.9% - on farms, 1.7% - on organizations engaged in agricultural activities.
