According to preliminary data, in January-December 2022, all categories of farms produced 3,441.7 thousand tons of potatoes, or 104.7% compared to 2021.
A significant share of the total volume of potatoes belongs to the Samarkand region (20.9%). At the same time, high indicators of potato production were noted in Andijan (12.2%), Tashkent (10.9%) and Fergana (10.5%) regions.
