On February 20 this year, a meeting was organized at the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the head of the representative office of the UN Children's Fund UNICEF to discuss further cooperation.
The event was attended by the Director of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Abdusalomovich Begalov, the head of the UNICEF Office in the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Munir Mammadzade and other specialists.
During the meeting, B. Begalov and Mr. Munir Mammadzade exchanged views on current and future areas of bilateral cooperation, including the process of preparing the next round of the MICS 7 Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey and improving data on children.
The participants of the meeting also agreed to continue further strengthening cooperation in the preparation of joint projects and initiatives that need to be taken in the future.
