On February 21, 2023, a press tour was organized at the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for teachers, students of the Chirchik State Pedagogical University, as well as for journalists.
Under the guidance of the rector of the Chirchik State Pedagogical University of the Tashkent region, the scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mukhamedov Gofurjon Israilovich, professors, teachers, students and researchers of the university were acquainted with the work on the formation and methodology of statistical data. Information was given on the steps to be taken from micro-level indicators to macroeconomic indicators.
They also got acquainted with the “Statistical Museum” created at the Agency.
As part of the press tour, there were also organized: an open dialogue and the process of signing a memorandum on bilateral cooperation.
The open dialogue was opened by the Director of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Economics, Professor Bakhodir Abdusalomovich Begalov and spoke in detail about the work carried out in the statistical system.
Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Information Exchange Odiljon Mamadaliev made a presentation on the Agency's activities, results achieved and plans for the future.
After that, the director and specialists of the Agency answered in detail the questions of teachers, students and researchers of the university.
As a result of the open dialogue, a memorandum of cooperation between the Agency and the university was signed.
It was agreed that such meetings would be held regularly in the future.
