On February 21 this year, Deputy Head of the Division of Capital and Satellite Accounts of Statistics agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan M.Yunusova and Chief Specialist of the Division of cost and production statistics G.Rakhmatullayeva made a presentation on the results of participation in the international seminar on the topic “Financial Programming and Policy”, organized by the International Monetary Fund and Joint Vienna Institute February 6-17, 2023 in Vienna (Austria).
The meeting participants were introduced to financial programming, quantitative analysis, the financial sector, accounting, forecasting, macroeconomic stability, medium-term outlook, balance of payments, monetary and exchange rate policy, diagnosing macroeconomic imbalances and correcting them through a coordinated set of knowledge-based adjustment policies, received at the seminar.
Also, the participants of the seminar acquainted the employees of the department with the experience of developed countries on the above topic, and also discussed the application of knowledge and experience gained at this seminar in the practice of national statistics.
During the presentation, information was also given on the statistical activities and experience of other countries, ongoing work to improve the skills of employees.
