According to preliminary data, in January-December 2022, all categories of farms caught 177.4 thousand tons of fish, or 103.2% compared to 2021.
A significant share of the total volume of fish caught belongs to the Khorezm region (16.6%). At the same time, high rates of fish caught were noted in Andijan (12.4%), Samarkand (9.5%) and Tashkent (8.6%) regions.
