According to preliminary data, in January-December 2022, all categories of farms produced 24,300.2 tons of cocoons, or 106.7% compared to 2021.
A significant share of the total volume of cocoons belongs to the Samarkand region (13.0%). At the same time, high rates of cocoon production were noted in Andijan (12.8%), Bukhara (10.6%) and Kashkadarya (9.5%) regions.
