On March 10, 2023, the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a round table at the Tashkent State Agrarian University.
It was attended by the heads of the Departments of the central office of the Statistical Agency, the leadership of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Statistical Research, the faculty of the university, researchers, students and representatives of the media.
Also, during the round table, opinions were expressed on the ongoing work in our country in the field of agricultural statistics and ecology. Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture and Ecology Statistics Khumoyun Orazbekov made a presentation on this topic.
As noted, according to preliminary data, the total volume of products (services) of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in January-December 2022 amounted to 364,522.8 billion soums, including in agricultural products - 347,564.4 billion soums, services of crop and livestock sectors, as well as in hunting - 4,573.4 billion soums, forestry - 9,223.0 billion soums, fisheries - 3,162.0 billion soums.
During the round table, the Statistical Agency specialists answered in detail all the questions of the students.
Students who took an active part in the event were awarded books.
