As of January-December 2022, in the Surkhandarya region, 77.4% of households have children under 16 years old.
Of them:
- families with one child - 20.4%;
- families with two children - 24.4%;
- families with three children - 22.0%;
- families with four or more children - 10.7%.
According to the survey, 22.6% of households do not have children under the age of 16.
