On March 14, 2023, an event was organized at the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the topic “Theory and practice of calculating statistical indicators”.
It was attended by the leadership and employees of the Central Office of the Agency on Statistics and employees of the Scientific Information Center at the Tashkent State Economic University.
Begalov Bakhodir Abdusalomovich, Director of the Agency on Statistics, spoke at the event and spoke about the large-scale work carried out in the field of statistics in our country and cooperation with scientific institutions.
A presentation on the topic was made by the chief researcher of the Scientific Information Center at the Tashkent State Economic University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Usmanov Anvar Saidmakhmudovich.
There was also an exchange of information on methods for calculating economic indicators, experience in calculating economic indicators in Uzbekistan, and directions for improving the methodology.
It was noted that the frequent holding of such meetings and the exchange of mutual experience will be important for improving the efficiency of activities in the future.
