According to preliminary data, the total number of horses in the republic as of January 1, 2023 reached 269.1 thousand heads, this figure compared to the same period in 2022 was 103.4%.
A significant share of the total number of horses falls on the Tashkent region (21.1%). At the same time, high numbers of horses were noted in Kashkadarya (13.2%) and Jizzakh (10.8%) regions.
