According to preliminary data, the total number of cattle in the republic as of January 1, 2023 reached 13,857.6 thousand heads, this figure compared to the same period in 2022 amounted to 102.3%.
A significant share of the total number of cattle falls on the Samarkand region (12.2%). At the same time, high rates of cattle livestock were noted in Kashkadarya (12.2%) and Bukhara (9.6%) regions.
