According to preliminary data, in January-December 2022, all categories of farms produced 6,191.0 thousand tons of wheat, or 103.4% compared to the same period in 2021.
A significant share of the total wheat belongs to the Kashkadarya region (11.6%). At the same time, high rates of wheat production were noted in Samarkand (11.0%), Fergana (11.0%) and Surkhandarya (10.3%) regions.
