According to preliminary data, the total number of birds in the republic as of January 1, 2023 reached 97,310.2 thousand heads, this figure compared to the same period in 2022 amounted to 105.8%.
A significant share of the total number of birds falls on the Tashkent region (16.8%). At the same time, high numbers of birds were noted in Samarkand (14.7%) and Andijan (10.8%) regions.
