According to preliminary data, the total number of cows in the republic as of January 1, 2023 reached 4,965.7 thousand heads, this figure compared to the same period in 2022 amounted to 102.1%.
A significant proportion of the total number of cows falls on the Samarkand region (14.8%). At the same time, high numbers of cows were noted in Kashkadarya (11.2%) and Bukhara (8.8%) regions.
